Dr.Narendrakumar A. Baldota
Dr. Narendrakumar A.Baldota has been associated with MSPL Limited since its inception in 1961. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce. He was born on 27th December 1940 and spent his initial years in Mumbai. He is a distinguished entrepreneur, whose pioneering efforts in establishing progressive and sustainable development practices in business and in nation building have drawn recognition to the Indian Mining sector.He has served as Chairman of Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), Mumbai. He is also the Chairman of The Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd (Scheduled Bank), which has 22 branches in Mumbai.
Dr. Narendrakumar A. Baldota has been the Managing Director from June 1997 and CMD from Dec 2002 and has been the Chairman from July 2005. The bank has bagged the “Best Urban Co-op Bank Award” in 2003 and the award was given away by Shri Bimal Jalan, honourable former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
Under Dr. Narendrakumar A Baldota’s leadership, the Baldota Group of companies have received prestigious awards such as:

He was the President of the Federation of Indian Minerals Industries, New Delhi from 1979-1981.

He abides by the principle of founder Chairman late Abheraj H. Baldota which states “I am not the owner of wealth, but privileged trustee to serve the community with it”. The company was among the handful of early movers in the country in terms of sustainability reporting in accordance with GRI guidelines. Since 2005-06, the company has been publishing its Sustainability Report every year.
Under CSR outreach programme, Dr. Narendrakumar A. Baldota has given the leadership in adoption of 18 villages around mining area and wind farms to ensure a better quality of life for the local people.
