Baldota Envirocare Private Limited (BEPL) is a start-up that is a part of the Baldota group of companies. BEPL manufactures ferrate, a multi-functional wastewater treatment chemical. So far, BEPL has developed and produced ferrate on a pilot scale and its efficacy has been well demonstrated in many industries use cases.
BEPL has developed a unique, intuitive method for the synthesis of ferrate using raw materials: Hematite (Fe2O3) iron ore, caustic soda, soda ash and Chlorine. This liquid Sodium Ferrate is stabilized by adding an agent.
Ferrate is a multi-function chemical that acts as a coagulant, chemical oxidant, and disinfectant. Ferrate is extremely utilitarian and can deliver multiple treatments from a single application. It does not create disinfection by-products, is environmentally friendly and solves difficult treatment challenges that other oxidants cannot address.
