Overview
In a continued commitment to sustainability and renewable energy, MSPL has also invested in solar power projects. Our inaugural project, boasting a capacity of 5.8 MWp [4 MW], began its operations in December 2021. Shortly thereafter, our second project, with a capacity of 11.2 MWp [8 MW], commenced operations in July 2022. Our Solar projects are located at Challakere, District Chitradurga in Karnataka.
These projects have been developed under a Group captive framework, with MSPL holding 26% equity stake; dedicated to our internal energy requirements. By using this clean and green power source, we have not only able to reduce carbon footprint of our manufacturing facility but have also achieved cost savings in overall power consumption.
